Hitting The Road

It’s finally time to leave SF, the US, and eventually the northern hemisphere to explore new places and meet new people. I’ll make a stop in Taiwan for a week, then to meet up with my good friends Lars and Kinsey in Bali for a 10 day surfari, and then…who knows. Hopefully I’ll find a boat to sail with in Bali, but if not maybe I’ll fly to Australia and look for one there (there are a lot of people sailing from Oz West towards Indonesia this time of year).

I’m packing relatively light; a waterproof day pack for my computer, books, other small personal items, a water repellent roller duffel for my clothes, toiletries, and other necessities, and a large surfboard bag for 3 boards, free diving equipment, and rash guard/wetsuit. Here is a detailed inventory of literally everything I’m bringing with me.

I’m not sure what the next 6 months will bring, but it’s bound to be an adventure.
